What to include in an invoice
An invoice tells your customer what you are charging for, how much is due and how to pay. Include these details so they can match it to the work or purchase.

Add your business name, address and contact details. Include the business or tax references needed for the transaction.

Use a unique invoice number, issue date and payment due date. Add the customer’s purchase order reference where relevant.
